Where is Winter?

So here it is, mid-February and no cold snap......NOTHING!  It is warm, outside is gorgeous and the kids are loving every minute of it.  However, the germs are everywhere and this teach has been home for two days with some sort of virus thing....YUCK!  And it's Valentine's Day which means I get not 1 but 2 sweet cards from my honey today.....one sappy one and one super cheesy, hilarious one.  So while I lay here on the couch binge watching Hart of Dixie, I am working on my tpt store and also getting ready to begin my 24 day challenge with advocare!  I have a race coming up in a month and then also a crossfit competition in April.  WHEWWW!

Busy Week, More Busy Weekend

This week has been a crazy whirlwind and just when I thought it couldn't get any more crazy, the weekend came!  In the midst of carting kids from here to there, washing clothes and restocking the fridge and pantry......I have had time to create a few items for my tpt store!  With Valentine's Day just a few weeks away, I thought this fun heart matching game would be a great addition to my music centers.

The weather got really chilly all of a sudden here in South Carolina.....we were in shorts last weekend!!!  With the chilly weather and sudden need to turn on my heated seats in my car, I thought it would be nice to create a music activity with snowballs.  In SC we can only pray for snow every now and then!

Music and the Inauguration

   I always find the Presidential Inauguration interesting.  When Obama was elected, Yo-yo Ma was there to perform on his inauguration day.  I was truly excited to hear that the Piano Guys were going to be performing for Trumps inauguration.....I adore the Piano Guys!  While researching the full day of inauguration activities, I found it very interesting to know that there are many songs that will be performed just as they have been for hundreds of years.  New in my TPT shop is a packet FULL of inauguration music history!  Check it out!  It is perfect for general music and American history!
