New to my TPT Store.....

Happy Sunday everyone!  I hope your day was as restful as mine.  Ready or not, here comes Monday!  If you're like me, you are probably spending your evening putting the last minute touches on your lesson plans for the week.  If you are looking for a fun activity to do this week with your 3rd-5th graders (since Thanksgiving is approaching and there is also a full moon, which means the kids will be acting crazy like little angels) then this activity is for you!  All you need is tape (painters or masking) and this download in my shop now!

First, you need to tape out a music staff on the floor of your music room.  Then display the slides on your smartboard.  The first few slides are of each individual note in the treble clef.  The idea is to have the student to find the note by moving and standing in the correct line or space of the staff.  The final slides will display two notes.  With these slides the students will compete to find their note
on the staff first.  I also encourage that you have class identify the interval between the two notes.

Have a great week!  Enjoy making music!!!!!!
